Sensei Navid is a multi-time national and international martial arts champion. With more than 35 years studying, training, and teaching martial arts, he leads World Top Martial Arts in Vancouver as head instructor.
He is a certified full-instructor in the philosophies and science of Jeet Kune Do, a 6th Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, and a certified instructor in Kickboxing and Edged & Impact Weapons. He also has extensive experience in the Grappling Arts.
His teaching moves seamlessly from art to art, giving students a practical understanding of the principles that unite different martial arts disciplines while sharpening the mind, maintaining physical health, and strengthening the spirit.
Sensei Navid’s martial arts system is modern and practical. He calls it Jinsei Do, a Japanese proverb translated as “The Way of Life.” It is not a single martial arts style; it is the process of creating a well-rounded martial artist.
Jinsei Do combines traditional martial art disciplines with modern fighting fundamentals in a scientific and systematic way: stand-up fighting, ground fighting, weapons defence, and the ability to adapt to different fighting styles.
WTMA believes students who commit to training become better members of society and modern-day warriors. As modern-day warriors, their duty is to bring harmony and peace to the world. Osu!
The original WTMA site lists ten reasons to choose the school. This redesign keeps those points and turns them into a quick decision guide for parents, teens, and adult students.
